Demolition of existing building and construction of a new state-of-the-art, energy efficient synagogue, featuring a main hall, kindergarten, youth hall, and office space.

FRS has been on this site since 1960 and the original main building was completed in 1974. Since then, the Synagogue has become an important part of the wider community, as well as supporting causes all over the world.

The Synagogue has approximately 2,000 members (almost 1,300 adults and 700 children), with the majority living in the local area. As with any community building, different sections of the community use the building at different times.

A new building was needed and Drytech working with McLaughlin and Harvey carried out a Full internal fit-out of a new build Synagogue

Drytech supplied installed plasterboard partitions to form office space, Kindergarten and general areas

In the main hall is a feature ceiling with plasterboard bulkheads to form a ‘Star of David’

Rafts, lay-in grid ceilings and Fire-stopping to FIRAS requirements were added post contract
